This is my first mission trip. Who knew it would be so much fun. Although they food is sub-par at best, the daily trips to wal-mart let us get our own snacks. I never thought I would enjoy wal-mart as much as I do now. One highlight of the trip is the chapel service that we attend every night. At first, we were hesitant about the service and when we got there we could tell that our youth group was a little different than the others. Each of the other groups knew the lyrics to each song we sung and our group was a bit shy. However, last night, we out-sung the other groups and had a great time. Hopefully the enthusiasm will continue and we will have the time of our lives. I think I have to get back to painting, but experiences such as smearing mayonaise all over our bodies and a few of us getting "dress-coded" will definitely make this a trip that I will never forget.
